The 64CS4 is a second generation multi-function card that improves on the original design by incorporating Ethernet capability, 10 separate D/S channels and additional functionality. The Stimulus channels include ON/OFF output capability, individual reference inputs for each channel, two-speed programmability, and rotation with start and stop angles. External amplifiers can be added to drive up to 30 VA with a frequency range of 50 to 400 Hz. Each channel can be specified for a different voltage, frequency or resolution. The card can be configured for 10 D/S channels, or in combination with A/D, D/A, High Voltage discrete I/O, TTL I/O, RTD, S/D, R/D, serial data busses, etc. The “mother board” contains 5 independent module slots, each of which can be populated with a function specific module
VME D/S, S/D & Multifunction I/O
Overview
Features & Benefits
Multiple functions on a single slot VME card
User can specify five different function modules
Automatic background BIT testing continually checks and reports health of each channel
Control via VME or Ethernet
Multi-speed ratios between 2 and 255 are programmable
FIFO Buffering/Trigger (select modules)
Optional onboard 5 VA programmable reference supply
The Stimulus channels offer short circuit protection and the ability to ground one of the outputs without effecting performance
Ambiguity circuits maintain monotonic outputs by compensating for misalignment between the Coarse and Fine Synchros
Connections via front panel, rear connector, or both
Designed for both Commercial and MIL applications
Convection and Conduction cooled versions
Software Support Kit and Drivers available
